Dr. Allison Cinats is a Canadian and American dual-board-certified dermatologist. Born and raised in Vancouver, BC, she graduated with First Class Honours from Dalhousie University after completing a combined Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry and Biology. She completed her medical school and Dermatology residency training at the University of Calgary before leaving Canada to practice on the East Coast of the United States for several years. She worked as a Clinical Assistant Professor at Virginia Commonwealth University, helping to train residents and earning an outstanding teaching award for medical student education.
She is thrilled to be back in Vancouver with her husband and two young children, where they can be close to family and the mountains. She looks forward to a varied practice of medical, surgical and cosmetic dermatology encompassing skin cancer, psoriasis, eczema, acne, pediatric dermatology and autoimmune disease.
